    PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

    Caleb Martin is a graduate of Stanford University, where he received a Bachelor of Arts with Honors in American Studies. Within the major, he focused on law, policy, and inequality in America. During his senior year, he wrote a thesis exploring civil rights at the Democratic National Convention between 1968 and 1984. Caleb graduated with Departmental Honors and Distinction and received the David M. Potter Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Research and Stanford Alumni Award of Excellence.

    While at Stanford, Caleb served as an AmeriCorps volunteer assisting primarily low-income residents of San Mateo County in civil matters. He served as the site’s Team Lead his senior year. He also worked as a Resident Assistant and at Stanford’s Haas Center for Public Service. During his summers, he conducted legal research at the U.S. State Department’s Bureau of Democracy, Human Rights, and Labor and received the Yale Law School Arthur Liman Undergraduate Fellowship to pursue an internship at Transgender Law Center.

    At Wood LLP, Caleb assists attorneys in many of the firm’s practice areas. He provides factual research, copy editing and cite checking, publication and client-related document management, court filings and factual analysis.
