    Michael Hissey is a recent graduate of Harvard University, holding a Bachelor of Arts in Government. In his chosen field, Michael focused on international law, politics, and relations, with an emphasis on international political economy and trade. He was an active member of Harvard’s Institute of Politics at the Kennedy School of Government, where he focused on maximizing voter registration among undergraduates. He also worked for Harvard Student Agencies as a manager for the Harvard Shop.

    During his time at Harvard, Michael was a team member and later finance director of Boston Foods. This non-profit start-up was operated by Harvard and Boston College students. It distributes discounted grocery packages to lower income communities throughout the Boston area. In his capacity as finance director, Michael managed book keeping for the organization.

    Michael spent his college breaks pursuing internships and study abroad opportunities. He studied International Business Law at Ca’ Foscari University in Venice, worked at Salvatore Ferragamo, S.p.A. in New York, and the Cato Institute in Washington, D.C. His experiences at Ferragamo and the Cato Institute in particular allowed him to develop research and analytical skills.
